The students in Art III completed an “on-site” oil painting based on their studies of late-19th century French Impressionism. Everyday for a period of two weeks the students returned to the same spot they visited the day before while wielding their brushes and oil paints as they captured some of the scenic views surrounding the Yukon High School campus. Take a few minutes to watch the intro to the A&E series, The Impressionists: The Other French Revolution, then click through the slideshow displaying a few of the student artworks from this assignment.
