The students in Art I have been working on several studies utilizing tempera paint. The first of these painting studies was a monochromatic study based on a group of forms and differences in value. The second part of the tempera study was based on a lone apple to examine form, texture, and value. The students are currently working on the third and final part, which is a still-life painting of fruit.
