Student Work Selected for the 2020 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Exhibition

The 2020 Oklahoma Regional Scholastic Art & Writing Award recipients have been announced and Mrs. Adams’ and Mr. Payne’s students captured multiple awards, including seven Gold Key awards, seven Silver Key Awards, and 15 Honorable Mentions. The six students who received individual Gold Key awards will have their work advance to nationals where they will have the opportunity to earn a National Silver or Gold medal. The Gold Key winning artwork will be on display at the Gardiner Gallery of Art located in the Bartlett Center at Oklahoma State University from February 27 to 29.

672 students from 89 schools from across Oklahoma submitted 1,155 artworks to Scholastic this year. Of these artworks, 76 works received a Gold Key Award, 106 received a Silver Key, and 156 received an Honorable Mention.
