The Art II and Art I classes recently completed projects before the week-long break for the holiday.
The 1st hour Art II class completed a series of three self-portraits in pencil, tempera or watercolor paint, and mixed-media.
The 3rd and 6th hour Art I classes finished a study of the Principles of Designs, contrast and repetition, by studying the artwork of Andy Warhol. Students had to repeat a single image nine times, then use complementary colors (and black and white) to paint those images in a similar style that Warhol often employed. Take a few moments to check out some of the great examples created in these classes!
