Last week I spent Monday through Thursday at the University of Tulsa where I attended 32 hours of training focusing on the AP Art History curriculum. I drank a lot of coffee, took a lot of notes, had to sing and act out architectural models. We also took a walking tour of downtown Tulsa and viewed some impressive church architecture. The Boston Avenue Methodist Church was quite amazing as it was designed by Adah Robinson and Bruce Goff. Goff is a well-known architect and taught courses at OU. Robinson, interestingly enough, was Goff’s high school art teacher at Central High School in Tulsa. Just a little F.Y.I.
