Austrian & German Expressionist Painting

The Art III students continued their study of art history by learning about the origins of the Expressionist movement (early 20th century) and the artists in Germany and Austria who brought fame to this style. The works of Franz Marc, Emile Nolde, Otto Mueller, Oskar Kokoschka, Egon Schiele, Otto Dix, and George Grosz were studied as possible styles for the students to imitate.
