The Ceramics I course offers a semester long study of 3-D art and advanced ceramics applications. The course format will follow the similar format used by the other studio arts courses, which will involve an introductory lesson and presentation by the instructor followed with the application of learned knowledge by the student. The student will demonstrate new knowledge by completing the assigned ceramics project. The instructor will provide one-on-one assistance with these projects during the class work time. Students will be financially responsible for supply costs ($40.00).

Prerequisite: Successful completion (60% or above) of Art I.
