For the second year in a row Yukon High School will be represented in the Oklahoma Visual Arts Council’s (OVAC) Momentum exhibition. Emily Hoebing had her design for her installation piece, Enter the Void (Synapse), selected while Teran Columbus will exhibit his sculpture, Duplicitous. Emily and Teran are two of only 62 artists selected for the show, which represent Oklahoma’s up and coming film, performance, new media, and installation artists under the age of 30. Last fall YHS alum Eduardo Martinez had two of his AP Studio Art drawings selected for the Momentum exhibition in Tulsa. Martinez currently attends USAO in Chickasha.

Momentum will be held Friday, March 4 and Saturday, March 5 from 8 – 11 both nights. This year’s exhibition will be held at The Plow, 29 East Reno, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Visit the OVAC website for more information.
