If you are enrolled in AP Studio Art, please begin finalizing your sketches for your summer assignment. We will begin looking at your sketches on Monday, August 19. Also, don’t forget to collect past artwork that you have completed. I have also uploaded the syllabi for Art II, Art III, Art IV, AP Studio Art, and AP Art History. You can find these on each course page.

The supply/fee requirements for my classes this year are as follows:

2nd Hour – AP Art History

Supplies Needed: Pencils or ink pens and spiral bound notebook.

3rd Hour – Art III/IV

Supplies Needed: Pencils and spiral bound sketchbook (an old sketchbook or your sketchbook from last year will work as long as there are blank pages). * Students will need a Barbie/Ken doll for the first project of the year. Used dolls will better than new, so don’t go and buy a new one! Art Supply Fee: $40.00*

4th Hour – Art III/IV

Supplies Needed: Pencils and spiral bound sketchbook (an old sketchbook or your sketchbook from last year will work as long as there are blank pages). * Students will need a Barbie/Ken doll for the first project of the year. Used dolls will better than new, so don’t go and buy a new one! Art Supply Fee: $40.00*

6th Hour – AP Studio Art (2D, 3D, Drawing)

Supplies Needed: Pencils and spiral bound sketchbook (an old sketchbook or your sketchbook from last year will work as long as there are blank pages). Art Supply Fee: $50.00*

7th Hour – Advanced Art (aka Art II)

Supplies Needed: Pencils and spiral bound sketchbook (an old sketchbook or your sketchbook from last year will work as long as there are blank pages). Art Supply Fee: $30.00*

* The Art Supply Fee can be in the form of cash or a check or money order paid to the order of Yukon Public Schools. Ideally, this should be paid by September 13, 2013, but you may also pay this fee in smaller incremental installments throughout the year if this will help with your financial planning.
